About Me

Caspar Edwards is freelance sceneic carpenter and a Lighting Technician. He Studied at the London Acadamy of Music & Dramatic Arts for 3 years on the Production Technical Arts for Stage & Screen degree course where he completed many productions across Sound, Lighting, Sceneic Construction and Stage Management roles. His main area of interest and expertise is in the Stage Department. His proficiency allows him to take a production from the first part of the design period all the way into opening the show.

 

His skills enable him to draw the plans using online CAD softwares to building the sets and finally responding to notes after he has put the set into the venue. Alongside building sets he is also a flymen and is well versed into theatre rigging . Having learnt on a counterweight fly system he can competently put in a hemp set and make use of a theatre grid to facililitate different methods of rigging.
